Team 30Fifteen has been seriously obsessed with Italian food lately, but pasta dishes and chicken parm can be seriously heavy on the stomach. So, if you’re looking for something with an Italian flare that’s still light and fresh, you might want to try this recipe for a tomato mozzarella salad:

Here’s what you’ll need:
 ¼ cup of olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
½ teaspoon of salt
black pepper
1 clove of minced garlic
3 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
1 ½ cups of mozzarella cheese cut into cubes
1 pint of grape or cherry tomatoes

Here’s how to make it:
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, garlic, and basil. It’s a good idea to really whisk it together. Set this to the side while you cut the tomatoes in half. In another bowl, combine the tomatoes and cheese. Add the olive oil mixture to the tomatoes and cheese, and stir until coated. Chill until ready to serve. Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning on top and you're good to go!
