HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR SUMMER: WORKOUT OUTSIDE
Summer is here, the sun is finally out and we don't want to miss a second of it! While during the winter months, we're ok hitting the gym or a studio to workout, during the Summer we want to get outside!
Here's a list of activities you can enjoy outside that'll get your heart rate going!
MASTER THE JUMP ROPE!
If you've picked up a jump rope lately - you'll know it's not as easy as it was when you were at school! Get that heart rate up outside in your garden or the local park, invite some friends and make it even more fun!
TAKE YOUR YOGA MAT OUTSIDE
That's the beauty of yoga, you can literally do it anywhere! So why not take your mat outside in the garden, or lacking some outdoor space - try the local park!
SWIM IN A LAKE OR THE OCEAN
Swimming is a full body workout, totally fun, and for some therapeutic! It's great exercise and the best way to cool down this summer!
Get your self down to the beach, a lake or your local pool!
TRY KAYAKING OR CANOEING
I mean - this isn't for the faint-hearted, but if you're looking to try a new activity that will totally get your heart rate up! Be sure to go out with a professional if you've never done it before!
HIKE IT OUT
No equipment needed, just yourself and a trail! One of the best ways to get your body moving while enjoying the Summer weather! Before you know it you'll be loving how toned your legs are looking!
This does require a friend, S.O. or your dog! But throwing catch at your local park is a great way to get out in the fresh air, move your body and destress from the work day.
THROW A FRISBEE
Just like like catch, you're going to need a partner, but just like catch it is a great way to get outside, move your body and let the work day go!
I mean - at this point do we really need to emphasize all the benefits Tennis gives you, but getting your heart rate up in the outside, while having fun is what this post is all about and Tennis ticks every one of those boxes! Grab your racket, put your 30Fifteen on, and enjoy!
