Here's some points to consider and maybe try if you struggle with staying motivated throughout the week.

Keep your spirits high
When you're working towards a goal and you start to get setbacks it can affect your mood. It can also make you feel overwhelmed which affects everyone differently. Try and keep your spirits high during the good and bad times. The easiest way to do this, is by surrounding yourself with people that bring out the best in you, keep you motivated and inspired. Maybe take a look at who you spend most of your time with and if they keep you motivated or bring you down.

Make weekly check points to track your progress
Tracking your progress is not designed to make you feel like you aren't accomplishing anything so if you use this to stay motivated - take the pressure off immediately. Tracking your progress is a great way to feel happy about what you progress you are making and if you are lagging a little, it should help motivate you.

Reward yourself
It's important to recognize your hard work, and reward yourself for it. It can be as simple as a bubble bath with candles, essential oils etc or you could splurge on a mini trip to celebrate and reboot. Recognizing yourself for your accomplishments will help you stay motivated and ready for achieve more of your goals.

Give yourself a break
Even the most determined people get overwhelmed, and it could be cause you're burning out. It's important to take a break and clear your mind. You could achieve this with a mini vacation, a relaxing weekend at home with no agenda, taking a 'me day' at least once a month.

Be gentle with yourself
This one follows nicely on from giving yourself a break. Being kind and gentle to yourself is so important to keeping you motivated and focused on your goals. It might feel like sometimes you're knocking at closed doors, or getting no where, but don't turn these experiences on yourself and beat yourself up about it. That's not going to help anything. If you're having a day where you feel more tired and less driven, that's ok, go with that energy and no that you can do what isn't accomplished the next day, if you need. Just be gentle through the whole process.

Watch/Read/Listen to motivational books, podcasts, stories, speeches.
We know, this is kind of an obvious one, but it does help. Sometimes they just remind you of something you already know, but even that is really helpful. We can become kind of clouded in our mind when we get busier so listening or reading something motivational can help spark your desire/focus again. Our weekly Motivational Monday posts could also help too!
